beltorque® is a patented system that synchronizes the linear displacement speed of the container and the rotating speed of the closure even when the cap stops turning.

CAPPER BENEFITS

Innovative beltorque® Technology Offers The Following Advantages:

beltorque® technology uses parallel belts for screwing and tightening caps instead of discs found in traditional tighteners. It also uses custom designed snapping tooling for snap cap closure. The equipment is state-of-the-art design and packaging innovation that includes the following advantages:
  • High production speed (up to 300 containers per minute).
  • Possibility to apply high torque without caps scuffing. (No scuffing of closures)
  • Accurate measurement of the torque.
  • Controlled applied torque with minimum tolerances.
  • Digital display of applied torque for each cap.
  • A repeatable and stable process with minimal cross threads.
  • Reject rate for cross thread below 0.5% compared to approximately 2% with existing technology.
  • Quick single point adjustments for the torque while equipment is in operation.
  • Stability of the container during the screwing and tightening operation.
  • Flexibility to adapt equipment to a large variety of closures and containers
  • Facilitated validation process.
  • Minimum floor space required.

beltorque® Inline Automated Capper – BT-IC This model is fully automated. It places the cap on the container, screws the cap and applies a controlled torque on it, which can be monitored for further quality assurance. The beltorque® capper is equipped with three (3) sets of belts. The container gripper belts stabilize the containers during the capping operation process. The screwing belts place and screw the closure on the container. The tightening belts apply the final required torque to the caps.

beltorque® Inline Retorquer – BT-RT This unit is usually placed after a cap induction sealing machine or to apply a controlled torque on closures previously screwed. The beltorque®, model BT-RT, is an inline cap tightener that uses two (2) sets of belts. The container gripper belts stabilize the containers for the cap tightening operations. The tightening belts apply the final torque to the caps. This equipment may be supplied with several options.

beltorque® Inline Screwer-Tightener – BT-ST This model is mainly used on semi-automatic lines to screw and tighten closures previously placed on the containers. The beltorque®, model BT-ST, is an inline cap screwer-tightener mounted with three (3) sets of belts. The container gripper belts stabilize the containers for the cap screwing and tightening operations. The screwing belts screw the caps. The tightening belts apply the requested final torque to the caps. This equipment may be supplied with several options.

Fully automated capper is usually used for the pharmaceutical industry. This equipment follows strict requirements for design and assembly to ensure industry standard compliance.

The Beauty and Health Care industry often requires flexible design and our BT-ST model is suitable for such requirements. Our processing and design capabilities allow us to provide solutions adapted to the wide variety of fragility, shapes and sizes of containers.

beltorque® inline screwer-tightener is also used for the Personal care industry and for powder lines. The capability of the equipment to cap various sizes and shapes is suitable for those industries. Our equipment can be designed with wash down or explosion proof options. beltorque® design and conception is compliant with hazard analysis and critical control points.
